The Desert Golf Academy located in Osoyoos, B.C, Canada's only desert. The academy has been inspired and created by golf professional Wayne Hachey. Wayne began his professional golfing career at the Osoyoos Golf Club in 1984 and worked as an assistant professional at that time. After receiving top honours from the CPGA head professional program, Wayne then travelled to Germany to work as a Head Professional at Golf Club Erlangen for 5 years.In 1997 Wayne then created the EPD Tour and helped develop many of todays top European Tour stars , such as 2010 PGA Champion , 2014 US Open Champion, 2014 Players Championship winner Martin Kaymer.
Wayne continues to organize events for the EUROPEAN PRO GOLF TOUR in Spain which prepares the "next generation" of top professional golfers as well as one of the top World Amateur Junior Tournaments.
The main focus of the Desert Golf Academy is to bring the many years of experience Wayne has gathered through his close association with many of today's top players and pass on this knowledge to the students that he coaches and mentors in a fun learning environment.
